New Delhi: The widow of late businessman Sunjay Kapur, Priya Sachdev Kapur, has been granted permission by the Delhi High Court on Friday to submit a sealed cover containing the assets of her late husband. A bench led by Justice Jyoti Singh was hearing the case. Additionally, the High Court ordered Priya Kapur to give Sanjay's mother, Rani Kapur, a copy of the will and to retain it in the court's Registrar-General's custody. The court further ordered that the document be placed under the custody of the Registrar General of the court to ensure confidentiality and secure handling. Senior Advocate Rajiv Nayar, appearing for Priya Kapur, stressed the need to maintain confidentiality in dealing with sensitive documents, noting that although the matter pertains to a partition suit, it has drawn considerable public attention. In the meantime, the lawyers for the children of Priya Sachdev and Karisma Kapoor promised the court that the will's contents would not be made public.
