New Delhi: Nearly two decades after Awarapan won audiences with its emotional storyline and memorable soundtrack, actor Emraan Hashmi has returned as Shivam in the first teaser of Awarapan 2.
The 1-minute-45-second promo offers a glimpse into the sequel while a reimagined version of the iconic song Toh Phir Aao has become the biggest talking point among fans.
The teaser opens with a callback to the 2007 film, showing Shivam sitting beside the grave of his beloved Aaliyah, played by Shriya Saran in the original. Carrying forward the emotional thread, the promo hints at a man still haunted by loss and searching for purpose.
