Mumbai: Dhurandhar The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh is taking its musical success to the international stage with its soundtrack submitted for consideration in nine categories at the 2027 Grammy Awards. Composed by Shashwat Sachdev, the film’s music has gained significant popularity in India and overseas with several tracks attracting attention on global music charts.
After making a major impact at the box office, director Aditya Dhar’s spy thriller is now aiming for international recognition through an ambitious Grammy campaign. The initiative seeks to showcase the film’s music across multiple genres, including pop, rap, electronic and global music.
B62 Studios, one of the production houses behind the film announced the Grammy consideration campaign through a promotional post on social media. The campaign highlights nine categories in which the soundtrack and its individual songs have been submitted for consideration.
Dhurandhar The Revenge was produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, while T-Series handled the film’s music production. The campaign also features a dedicated website detailing the submissions and categories targeted by the makers.
According to the campaign details, composer Shashwat Sachdev has been submitted for consideration in the Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media category which recognises eligible soundtrack albums created for films and other visual media.
Among the individual tracks, Kanhaiyya has been submitted in the Best Global Music Performance category while Aari Aari features in the Best Asian Pop Music Performance category.
The campaign also targets mainstream music categories. Phir Se has been submitted for Best Song Written for Visual Media while Jaan Se Guzarte Hai is listed in Best Global Music Performance. Jaiye Sajana has been entered in Pop Duo/Group Performance and Vaari Jaavan in Best Dance/Electronic Recording.
The remaining submissions include Hum Pyaar Karne Wale for Best Remixed Recording and Destiny Mann Atkeya for Best Rap Performance.
The nine-category strategy reflects the makers ambition to introduce the soundtrack to a wider international music audience. However, submissions for consideration do not guarantee official Grammy nominations or awards.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar The Revenge features Ranveer Singh in the lead role alongside Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun and Danish Pandor.
The spy thriller has emerged as a major commercial success strengthening the franchise’s popularity among Indian audiences. Its music has also become an important part of the film’s appeal with Shashwat Sachdev’s composition attracting attention across digital platforms.
The Grammy campaign adds another dimension to the film’s journey placing its soundtrack in the international awards conversation and highlighting the growing global reach of Indian film music.
