Salman Khan Backs Students Over Paper Leak Protest (Img: X)
New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has extended his support to students protesting against alleged paper leaks, calling the issue serious and urging authorities to strengthen the examination system.
In a post shared on X, Salman also expressed sadness over the violence reported during the student protest in Delhi. He said the movement had initially remained peaceful and conveyed his support to students and their families who were injured.
Salman appreciated the students for raising their voices in favour of a fair and transparent education system. He said their participation showed courage, dedication and a strong desire to secure their future through education.

The actor also praised parents for standing with the protesting students. According to him, a generation that remains focused on education and accountability can make India proud.
Calling paper leaks a major concern, Salman said the matter directly affects the future of students who spend years preparing for competitive examinations.
He expressed hope that the government would respond positively to their concerns and take steps to create a stronger and more reliable educational system.
Salman also appealed to political parties not to take control of the movement. He said the issue was primarily between students and the education system and that the credit for the protest should remain with the students.
The actor stressed that the agitation should continue to be student-led rather than becoming a platform for political interests.
Salman said education should become a major aspiration among young people and hoped India would eventually emerge as a global education destination.
He said the country should build a system strong enough to attract students from other nations.
Students in Delhi have been protesting against alleged paper leaks in competitive examinations, including NEET-UG. They are also demanding accountability and the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi has alleged that more than 150 paper leaks took place in the country over the past decade. The government has said the allegations are being investigated, while Union Health Minister JP Nadda has assured that the NEET-UG issue will be discussed in Parliament.
