Since then, reports suggested that the legal notice and the announcement of departing from the film are mere publicity tactics. Akshay Kumar has now explained that their conflict was genuine, since publicity stunts do not include legal disputes.

What Was Disagreement Concerning?

Hera Pheri 3 was announced last year featuring Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal. All cast members had signed a contract for this movie, but then unexpectedly, Paresh Rawal declared in an interview that he would be departing from the project. Rather than notifying the director and producer of the film, he publicly declared his departure during an interview, which infuriated Akshay Kumar, who is also one of the film's producers. He issued a legal notice to Paresh Rawal for this action, following which the actor responded legally and also refunded the signing amount for the film. Following extensive debate, Paresh Rawal chose to return to the film, and an announcement should be forthcoming soon.

About Hera Pheri

The original Hera Pheri (2000) and its sequel Phir Hera Pheri (2006) have become cult favourites, renowned for their comic brilliance and timeless dialogues. The first film, directed by Priyadarshan, showcased the misunderstandings of Raju (Akshay Kumar), Shyam (Sunil Shetty) and Baburao (Paresh Rawal). The sequel, directed by Neeraj Vora, brought out the characters' quirks and camaraderie even better.
