Rakhi Sawant has come out strongly in support of Salman Khan amid his long-standing feud with Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap, calling the filmmaker a “womaniser” and accusing him of spreading lies about the actor and his family.

Mumbai: The long-running tension between Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap has reignited after actor Rakhi Sawant made explosive remarks in defense of Khan. Rakhi, known for her outspoken nature, took to a podcast to support the actor, calling him “a God on Earth” and slamming Kashyap for defaming him.
Rakhi praised Salman for being generous and kind-hearted, saying he had played a major role in reviving her career and supporting her family during tough times. “Salman Khan is a God on earth. He has done a lot for me. When my career was down, he gave me work, helped me join Bigg Boss, and even helped in my mother’s cancer treatment,” she said emotionally.
In the same interview, Rakhi launched a scathing attack on Abhinav Kashyap, accusing him of being disrespectful and spreading lies about Salman Khan and his family. “That bald man keeps bad-mouthing Salman these days. If I ever meet him, I’ll hit him with slippers. He doesn’t deserve to be called a director. He was removed from Dabangg because of his behavior,” she said angrily.
She went on to claim that the filmmaker was a “womaniser” who misbehaved with women on the film’s set. “He had started flirting around, ladkibazi shuru kar di thi usne,” she alleged, insisting that he was thrown out for unprofessional conduct and wasting production money.

Rakhi further claimed that Kashyap made “vile and false allegations” against Salman and even mocked his health and body. “He speaks dirty things about Salman and his family in public. He lies,” she said, adding that she would throw “10 eggs” at him if they ever crossed paths.
Sawant called Kashyap a “womaniser” and accused him of misbehaviour on set.
The feud between Salman Khan and Abhinav Kashyap dates back to 2020, when the Dabangg director accused the Khan family , Salman, Arbaaz, Sohail, and Salim Khan, of sabotaging his career. While Arbaaz reportedly took legal action at the time, Salman refrained from making any public statements.
Kashyap, however, has continued to make allegations in multiple interviews, claiming that Salman interfered in Dabangg’s production and post-production processes. He recently reignited the controversy by recounting incidents from the film’s set, alleging that Salman refused to perform a scene in which his character was required to touch Om Puri’s feet, forcing him to rewrite it multiple times.
According to the director, this led to tensions between Salman and Om Puri, with the veteran actor questioning the superstar’s behavior. Kashyap also alleged that Salman influenced the film’s final cut, reducing co-star Mahie Gill’s screen time, which he claimed negatively impacted her career.
Despite the ongoing allegations, Rakhi Sawant’s loyalty to Salman Khan remains unwavering. She urged fans and the media not to believe what she called “false stories” spread by people with personal grudges. “People like him should not be taken seriously. Salman has done so much good for so many people, including me,” she emphasized.
While Abhinav Kashyap continues to defend his claims, Rakhi’s strong reaction has once again thrust the Salman-Abhinav feud into the spotlight, sparking renewed debate within the film industry.
