Mumbai: Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff escaped unharmed after three motorcycle-borne men allegedly opened fire in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday evening. His driver sustained a gunshot wound to the hand. The incident took a new turn after an audio recording surfaced in which a man claiming links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang allegedly took responsibility for the attack and issued threats to people in the film industry associated with Salman Khan.

The authenticity of the recording and the claims made by the speaker have not been independently established. The identities of the shooters and the motive behind the incident remain under investigation.

Alleged Gang Audio Names Salman Khan

In the audio message, a man identifying himself as Anil Pandit allegedly claimed that Tiger Shroff had been targeted for ignoring instructions attributed to the gang and continuing to work with Salman Khan. The speaker reportedly threatened members of the film industry who worked with Salman Khan or operated independently of the group. He also used an insulting reference to Salman Khan and invoked the name of fugitive gangster Dawood Ibrahim.

The recording further claimed that the actor had previously been contacted and warned, but had failed to comply. The speaker suggested that the shooting was intended to reinforce the alleged warning. However, the statements in the audio remain allegations. The recording's origin, the speaker's identity and any actual connection to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang have yet to be verified.

Tiger Shroff Was Leaving a Football Ground

According to information available about the incident, the shooting took place in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday evening, when Tiger Shroff was reportedly leaving a football ground. Three men riding a motorcycle were allegedly involved in the attack and opened fire. Shroff escaped without sustaining injuries, while his driver was hit in the hand and required medical attention.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting, including how the attackers approached the location and whether the actor was their intended target, remain subjects of investigation.

Lawrence Bishnoi Gang and Salman Khan

Salman Khan has faced repeated threats attributed to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in recent years, making the reference to the actor in the newly surfaced audio particularly significant. The latest recording appears to extend the alleged threat beyond Salman Khan to other film-industry figures. The speaker's claims suggest that professional associations with the actor could attract retaliation, although investigators would need to establish whether the message is authentic and connected to the shooting. The alleged warning has raised fresh questions about the safety of celebrities and others working in the Hindi film industry.

Investigation Focuses on Shooters and Motive

The shooting and the subsequent emergence of the audio recording have added separate lines of inquiry to the case. Investigators will need to establish the identities of the motorcycle-borne attackers, determine the circumstances of the firing and examine whether the recording has any genuine connection to the incident.

Until the claims are verified, the alleged gang's responsibility and the motive attributed to Tiger Shroff's professional association with Salman Khan cannot be treated as established facts.

Tiger Shroff was reported to be safe following the incident, but the shooting and the threats contained in the recording have brought Bollywood security concerns back into focus.
