How to Make Bael Juice at Home?
Juices available in the market are often prone to adulteration or may lack proper hygiene; therefore, preparing it at home remains the safest and easiest option. Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe Bael fruit (Wood Apple)
  • Cold water
  • Jaggery or Rock Sugar (Mishri)
  • Black salt
  • Cumin powder
  • Mint leaves

Preparation Method:

First, strike the Bael fruit with a hard object to break it into two halves. Using a spoon, scoop out all the pulp from inside the fruit into a large bowl.

Add 2 to 3 glasses of cold water to this pulp and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. This will help soften the pulp.
Wash your hands thoroughly, then use your hands to mash the pulp well in the water. Be careful not to blend it in a mixer, as Bael seeds are bitter, and grinding them in a blender can ruin the taste of the juice.
Once the pulp has mixed thoroughly with the water, strain the mixture through a large sieve to separate the seeds and fibers.

Add powdered rock sugar (Mishri) or jaggery to the strained juice, adjusting the amount to your taste. Add a pinch of black salt and roasted cumin powder, then mix everything well.

Pour the prepared juice into glasses, garnish with mint leaves and ice cubes, and serve chilled.
