New Delhi: Gaza's Civil Defense Agency said on Monday that at least 20 people, including five journalists, have been killed in an Israeli attack on a hospital in the southern Gaza Strip. Major media organizations have confirmed that their fellow journalists have also been martyred in this attack.

The Nasser Hospital is one of Gaza's few remaining active medical facilities. The war in Gaza began in October 2023 when Hamas attacked Israeli territory, killing at least 1,200 people, mostly civilians.
At least 62,000 Palestinians have died in Israeli attacks so far, most of them women and children, according to Gaza health officials. International relief organizations have warned of a severe food crisis in Gaza as most aid routes are still closed.
