Kuwait City: An Indian citizen has died following an attack on Kuwait International Airport on Wednesday, according to official confirmations from the Embassy of India in Kuwait. The incident has triggered strong condemnation from India over attacks on civilian infrastructure.
The embassy said it is in close coordination with Kuwaiti authorities and is extending all possible assistance to the family of the deceased. The identity of the victim has not yet been disclosed.

The Indian Embassy in Kuwait stated that it is in constant contact with local authorities and is working to provide full support to the bereaved family. Officials reiterated that assistance is being ensured for both the deceased’s relatives and those injured.
The embassy added that further details regarding the victim will be shared after formal identification procedures are completed.
India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) strongly condemned the incident, calling for the protection of civilians and civilian infrastructure in conflict zones.
In its statement, the MEA said it was deeply saddened by the loss of an Indian life and urged all parties involved in the wider regional tensions to avoid targeting non-military sites and civilians.
The attack comes amid escalating tensions in the Gulf region, where Iran and the United States have been engaged in heightened military exchanges. The situation has raised concerns over the safety of civilian infrastructure and international travel hubs across the region.
