The explosion was so devastating that it caused a fire in the factory. The nearby buildings also collapesd. Police has arrested the factory manager but the factory owner fled the factory shortly after the blast. The cause of the explosion is not yet known.

Rescue operations underway in glue factory

New Delhi: At least 15 workers were killed and several others injured in massive explosion at a chemical factory in Faisalabad in Pakistan on Friday. The boiler exploded in the morning.

The explosion was so devastating that it caused a fire in the factory. The nearby buildings also collapesd.

Police has arrested the factory manager but the factory owner fled the factory shortly after the blast. The cause of the explosion is not yet known.

Rescue operations at a large scale are underway.
