Philippines hit by tsunami after quake triggered by Typhoon Kalmaegi; 66 Killed

This cyclone wreaked massive devastation in the central Philippines. The winds were so strong during the bad weather and storm that a helicopter carrying relief personnel crashed, killing six people. Many people swept away by strong currents During Typhoon Kalmaegi, winds gusted at 130-180 kilometers per hour, severely disrupting life. Seawater entered people's homes and the waves were monstrous. 49 people have been swept away by floodwaters. Floods and landslides exacerbate the situation Typhoon Kalamagi has wreaked havoc in Central Kibu. Landslides were reported in several locations, killing several people, and 13 are still missing. The harsh weather and flooding have hampered rescue operations in the area. People in Kibu are constantly pleading for help, but rescue teams have found it difficult to reach them.
