New Delhi: After returning from a state visit to the UK, former US President Donald Trump shared his strategy and experiences regarding the Ukraine war. He stated that he had hoped his personal relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin would help end the war quickly but now feels "disappointed with Putin."

Criticism of Europe and Russia's Oil Trade

In an interview with Fox News, Trump stated that the Ukraine crisis was a key topic in his conversation with British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer. He stated that while Europe and NATO countries are supporting Ukraine, they are still buying oil from Russia, which is a kind of double standard.

"We are expected to help Ukraine, but European countries buy oil from Russia. This is not right," says Donald Trump. According to Trump, Starmer admitted this was wrong and even hinted at imposing a future embargo on Russian oil.

Trump's suggestion to stop the war

Trump believes that if Russia stops selling oil or its prices fall, Russia will have no choice but to stop the war. He said, "If European countries stop buying oil from Russia, economic pressure on Russia will increase and the war will end sooner."

Trump's opinion on illegal immigration

Trump also raised the issue of illegal immigration during his meeting with Prime Minister Starmer. He compared the UK's problem to the US-Mexico border crisis. "I told the Prime Minister that whether it takes military force or any other means, immigration must be stopped," said Trump. Trump warned that illegal immigration can "destroy any country from within."
