New Delhi: Spiritual guru Sadhguru, along with NASA astronaut Sunita Williams and space scientist Kavya Manyapu, engaged in a lengthy conversation on science and spirituality at the Harvard Teaching School in Boston.

The event focused on the topic of Conscious Space Exploration, focusing on humanity and the quest to understand the universe.

This is the second day of the Consciousness, Science, Spirituality and Global Impact 2025 event, hosted by the Sadhguru Centre for Conscious Planet (SCCP) today.

Renowned astronaut Sunita Williams has completed nine spaceflights, the second-most by a woman, and her total time in space is 62 hours and 6 minutes, the fourth-most by a woman.

Kavya Manyapu is an Indian-American aerospace engineer and space scientist. She currently works in the Extravehicular Branch for Lunar Exploration Missions (Artemis Program) within NASA's JSC Flight Operations Directorate. She was part of the Boeing team that developed the CST-100 Starliner spacecraft for nearly 10 years.

Discussion on Space Exploration and Spirituality

Regarding the conversation, Sadhguru wrote on the social site X, "Exploration" means a journey into uncharted territory—whether inward or outward. The difference between the two is this: you turn inward for pure knowledge. You turn outward for impact, use, or utility.

He further wrote, "Both are about the human yearning to know. The only difference is the boundaries we choose to cross. These two amazing women engaged in space exploration—Sunita Williams and Kavya Manyapu—represent the immense potential of human capability and determination. Congratulations and best wishes."
