Hyderabad: Four members of a Hyderabad family were burnt to death in a road accident on Sunday. The whole family had gone to America for holidays. During this, a mini truck hit their car, due to which the car caught fire and all the people sitting inside were burnt alive.

The family was going from Atlanta to Dallas

Shri Venkat, a resident of Hyderabad, his wife Tejaswini and their two children had gone to Dallas, America for holidays. When they were returning to Dallas after meeting their relatives in Atlanta, a mini-truck coming from the wrong direction hit their car.

DNA test of the deceased continues
After the collision, the car caught fire and the couple and their two children were burnt to death. DNA tests are being conducted to ensure the identity of the deceased. After the DNA test, the bodies will be handed over to the relatives.

Two Indian students die in New York

Two Indian students died in another horrific road accident in East Cocalico Township, New York. The Indian Consulate gave this information on Tuesday. The students have been identified as 20-year-old Manav Patel and 23-year-old Saurav Prabhakar. Both the students were studying at Cleveland State University.

According to the Lancaster County Coroner's Office, Saurav Prabhakar was driving the car. At the time of the accident, the car slipped off the road, hit a tree and then collided with a bridge. Both the students died on the spot. Another passenger sitting in the front seat of the car was injured and was admitted to a local hospital.

Indian Embassy expressed condolences

The Indian Consulate in New York wrote on X, "It is deeply saddened to learn about the tragic death of two Indian students of Cleveland State University, Manav Patel and Saurav Prabhakar." The embassy has also assured all possible help to the families of the victims.
