Donald Trump posted on his social media platform, Truth Social, he wrote, "Tuesday, 8 p.m. (Eastern Time)!" This statement is being seen as a final warning to Iran. Previously, Trump had issued a 48-hour ultimatum to Iran, but this deadline was subsequently extended several times. Now, it has been extended until the night of April 8th.

Tough Stance on the Strait of Hormuz

Trump has stated clearly that if Iran does not open the Strait of Hormuz soon and reach an agreement, it will face serious consequences. He warned that the US could target Iran's energy and infrastructure. Trump said, "If the Strait of Hormuz is not opened, everything in Iran, including power plants and bridges, will be targeted."

Possibility of Agreement, but Threat Remains

In an interview, Trump also stated that there is still a possibility of an agreement. However, he also made it clear that if negotiations fail, the US will not hesitate to take tough action. According to Trump, "If things don't work out, we will destroy everything."

Claim of Discontent Within Iran

Trump also claimed that the Iranian people are unhappy with their government and could support potential US action. Earlier, he had also said that a major Iranian bridge had been destroyed in the attack and warned that if a deal was not reached soon, even bigger attacks could occur.
