New Delhi: The ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia has once again reached a terrible turn. In response to the fierce drone attacks carried out by Ukraine inside Russia in recent days, Russia on Saturday launched a fierce missile and drone attack on the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, which has killed 3 and injured 21 people, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Ukrainian officials have confirmed the attack and described it as Russia's retaliation. Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov said that 18 multi-story buildings and 13 private residential houses were damaged in the attack. After the attack, there was a scene of heavy devastation in the city.

Many houses were completely razed to the ground, and rescue and relief operations are going on in the affected areas. In this Russian attack, about 48 'Shaheed' drones, 2 missiles, and 4 aerial glide bombs were used. Aerial glide bombs, in particular, are considered extremely dangerous, as they hit the target with extreme accuracy and cause widespread devastation.

The Ukrainian military claimed that some drones and missiles were destroyed mid-air, but many managed to reach their targets.

Massive drone attack

This attack comes at a time when, just a few days ago, Ukraine carried out a massive drone attack on four airbases located inside Russia. Ukraine used 117 unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) to damage targeted airbases inside Russia. Several bomber aircraft have been destroyed or severely damaged in these attacks, satellite images show.
