Washington: The United States has advised its citizens to reconsider travel to Saudi Arabia amid growing security concerns linked to possible drone and missile attacks, regional tensions and ongoing conflicts in West Asia.
The US State Department issued a Level 3 travel advisory for Saudi Arabia, asking Americans to “reconsider travel” due to risks including Iranian drone and missile threats, armed conflict, terrorism and other security concerns. A stricter warning remains in place for areas near the Yemen border.
The advisory comes amid rising tensions involving Saudi Arabia, Yemen-based Houthi forces and wider regional conflicts.
