New Delhi: The 3-6-9 manifestation technique has gained popularity on social media, with many people claiming it helps them stay focused on their goals and intentions.
While there is no scientific evidence that the method can directly attract success or change external events, many supporters believe it can improve mindset, consistency and motivation.

The method involves writing the same positive affirmation:
This routine is typically followed for 21 consecutive days.
Spiritual coach Jai Madaan recently explained the technique on Instagram, saying that repeating a specific affirmation helps people remain mentally aligned with their goals.
According to Jai Madaan, manifestation enthusiasts associate the numbers 3, 6 and 9 with special significance, often linking them to inventor Nikola Tesla. However, there is no historical evidence that Tesla promoted the modern 3-6-9 manifestation practice. The association is widely circulated online but remains unverified.

Supporters believe repeatedly writing an affirmation strengthens focus, reinforces positive thinking and encourages people to notice opportunities related to their goals.
From a psychological perspective, regularly writing down goals may help improve commitment, clarity and consistency factors that can support personal goal-setting. However, it should not be viewed as a guaranteed method for achieving specific outcomes.
The 3-6-9 technique can be a simple journaling exercise if used to stay motivated and organised. Experts generally recommend pairing positive affirmations with practical planning, consistent effort and realistic action, rather than relying on manifestation alone.
