New Delhi: Dali's journey of painting started when she was adopted by a couple named Hoi Choudhury, who are also into art. when Dali was only 45 days (about 1 and a half months) when they found her. They notice that Dali is fascinated with paintbrushes, and she used to snatch paintbrushes from Snehangshu Debnath.

She used to run off playfully, one of their friends joked that maybe this is a way of expressing that maybe she also wanted to paint, and they took it as a hint, and they decided to give Dali a chance. The movement Dali made first stroke; they were amazed; they started experimenting with the dog-friendly paintbrush, to ensure that Dali could paint safely. So, they made one at home using a wooden block, carefully carved to fit her jaw."

Using that handmade paintbrush, Dali began creating, abstract paintings- Usually layered, textured, and surprisingly she painted confidently. Dali have made dozen abstract paintings, her art has color and surprising sense of composition. They aren’t random splashes; they reflect an instinctive and curious approach to art.

This is what makes this more inspiring: the purpose behind her art. Her human parents decided to channel her growing popularity into a noble cause. The couple picked twelve of her best pieces and released them as a limited-edition calendar. Buyers were even given the option to select the color palette for their commissioned paintings. The entire proceeds- ₹35,000 so far- are being used to fund treatment and rescue work/treatments for stray and injured dogs.

Dali is a dog once left all alone and then adopted. She started painting. Every colorful stroke Dali makes isn't just paint on a canvas; it's a hopeful message for us. Because of her art, money is raised to help other stray dogs who are hurt or need a safe place. This gives us a lesson that by giving one chance can result amazing. Serving for a wonderful cause also reminds us of the joy that comes from helping others.
