Chandigarh: In a landmark move to accelerate skill development in Haryana, the Government of Haryana and the Naveen Jindal Foundation today signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), reports Dynamite News correspondent.

As part of this agreement, the management of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Bahlolpur, Ladwa, has been officially handed over to the Naveen Jindal Foundation.

The MoU was signed in the esteemed presence of Chief Minister of Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini; Kurukshetra MP Naveen Jindal; and Hisar MLA Savitri Jindal. The agreement was formally executed on behalf of the government by Additional Chief Secretary Bijender Singh and Managing Director of the Skill Development & Industrial Training Department, Captain Manoj Kumar.

Under its flagship ‘Naveen Avsar Program,’ the Naveen Jindal Foundation will transform the ITI into a modern, industry-aligned, and women-focused world-class skill development center. The center will offer high-quality, practical, and technology-driven training designed to make youth, especially women, job-ready and self-reliant.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini stated, “This partnership will place Haryana at the forefront of skill development and connect our youth with the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. MP Naveen Jindal’s commitment to empowering the next generation is truly inspiring.”

MP Naveen Jindal added, “This is not just a transfer of an institution—it is a transformative step towards providing dignity, opportunity, and empowerment to our youth, particularly women. We envision every trainee here to not only build a strong personal future but also contribute meaningfully to nation-building.”

MLA Savitri Jindal termed this initiative as “a new beginning in the journey of public service.” On this significant occasion, a special booklet highlighting the key achievements of MP Naveen Jindal’s first year in his current parliamentary term was also released. The publication documents extensive work undertaken in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and skill development.
