Bikaner: Dr Karni Singh Stadium transformed into a vibrant playground of learning, creativity, and fun as students from over 800 schools came together for the three-day Bikaner Children’s Festival ‘Ajoo Gooja 2.0’. The festival was not just about entertainment: it celebrated childhood itself, encouraging children to explore, play, and learn beyond the digital screen.
Ajoo Gooja 2.0 offered more than 80 hands-on activities, including painting, pottery, paper-mâché, and traditional Indian games. Children enthusiastically engaged in kite flying, dancing, and other interactive sessions, while even adults found themselves reliving the joys of their own childhoods.

Dignitaries including local MLAs, the District Collector, and senior officials joined the festivities, participating in games alongside the children and emphasizing the importance of togetherness, creativity, and active play.

While fun took center stage, the festival carried a strong message of sustainability and civic awareness. Under the theme Swabhav Swachhata, Sanskaar Swachhata, the Bikaner Municipal Corporation educated attendees on waste segregation through the 4-bin system, RRR Centres, and innovative activities like Waste to Art. Children, parents, and teachers learned how everyday waste can be converted into resources.
Interactive stalls and selfie points ensured that lessons in cleanliness were engaging and memorable, seamlessly blending entertainment with education.

The festival concluded with a collective Swachhata Pledge, where children vowed to keep their homes, schools, and neighborhoods clean, avoid single-use plastics, and inspire others to do the same.
