Ayodhya: Ram Temple Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra has said the suggestions made by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust CEO and retired Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra on construction-related matters will be implemented, particularly those concerning the timely use of advance payments made to construction agencies.

Speaking to reporters, Nripendra Mishra clarified that he had not held a separate discussion with the Trust CEO on the specific work. However, Jeetendra Mishra attended a review meeting, where he was briefed on the matters discussed, including the progress of construction activities. His suggestions were also taken into consideration.

Trust to Monitor Use of Construction Advances

Referring to advance payments made to agencies, including Rajkiya Nirman Nigam and other institutions, Nripendra Mishra said the Trust CEO had stressed that the funds should be utilised within the stipulated time.

He added that if the agencies failed to use the entire amount, the interest earned on the unspent funds should be paid to the Ram Temple Trust.

"All the suggestions made by him were correct, and they will be followed," the Ram Temple Construction Committee chairman said.

The remarks underline the importance of financial accountability alongside the completion of construction work at the temple complex. The review meeting covered construction-related issues, with the CEO’s recommendations receiving the committee chairman’s approval.

148 Projects Completed, November 15 Deadline Set

In an update issued on Friday, Nripendra Mishra said almost all construction work at the Ram Temple complex had been completed, with the remaining tasks expected to be finished by November 15.

Extending greetings on the upcoming festivals, he said 148 of the nearly 150 construction projects within the complex had been completed and handed over to the Ram Mandir Trust.

Larsen & Toubro, which is executing the construction work, is required to submit completed projects to the Trust along with the relevant records, drawings, designs and financial documents.

The Trust’s project engineers inspect the completed works before approving their handover. The process is intended to ensure that the required documentation and formalities are completed alongside the physical construction.

"Of these 150 works, 148 have been completed and handed over. The major construction work that is yet to be handed over is the Parkota, the temple's perimeter structure," Nripendra Mishra said.

The Parkota remains among the key outstanding components. Work is also continuing on infrastructure, finishing touches and lighting arrangements across the temple complex, with November 15 serving as the deadline for completing the pending tasks.

International Ram Katha Museum Inspected

Meanwhile, Nripendra Mishra inspected the International Ram Katha Museum on Saturday. The museum is being developed under the Ram Temple Trust and is expected to showcase the life of Lord Ram through 20 galleries.

The inspection came as construction at the wider temple complex approaches completion, with the Trust preparing to take charge of the remaining projects after the necessary checks and documentation.

The latest update highlights two priorities for the temple administration: completing the outstanding construction work within the November deadline and ensuring that advance payments to construction agencies are properly accounted for.

With 148 projects already handed over, the remaining work centres on the Parkota and other pending infrastructure, finishing and lighting arrangements. The Trust is also expected to follow the CEO’s recommendations on the timely utilisation of construction advances and the treatment of interest on any unspent funds.
