Ayodhya: The city is set to witness a historic moment today when Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hoist the saffron flag atop the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. This event, taking place on the auspicious occasion of Vivah Panchami, is considered extremely significant from a spiritual and cultural perspective. Unprecedented security arrangements have been made in the city for the ceremony, and the entire area has been transformed into an impregnable fortress. On Monday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself arrived in Ayodhya and thoroughly inspected the preparations, including reviewing all aspects of the temple complex, administrative arrangements, and visitor security.

PM Modi's Ayodhya Visit and Religious Program

Prime Minister Modi will arrive at the Saptmandir at around 10 a.m. and visit the temples of Maharishi Vashistha, Maharishi Vishwamitra, Maharishi Agastya, Maharishi Valmiki, Devi Ahalya, Nishadraj Guha, and Mata Shabari. He will then offer prayers at the Mata Annapurna Temple. After visiting the Ram Darbar sanctum sanctorum at around 11 a.m., he will hoist the sacred saffron flag atop the main spire at 12 noon. This ceremony will be held during the Abhijit Muhurta of Vivah Panchami. The 10-foot-high and 20-foot-long triangular flag depicts the radiant sun form of Lord Shri Ram, the Kovidara tree, and the 'Om' symbol, giving it special spiritual significance.
