Ayodhya has been turned into a high-security zone ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit for the ceremonial flag-hoisting atop the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Nearly 7,000 security personnel, anti-drone systems, snipers and specialised units have been deployed.
This event will be an unforgettable moment not only for Indians but also for Ram devotees around the world. The flag fluttering at the top of the Ram Temple will become a symbol of India’s cultural and spiritual heritage.
On Independence Day, the tricolor is hoisted in the morning. This ceremony usually takes place at sunrise or around 9 am. After this the national anthem is sung and salute is given.
