New Delhi: Former Supreme Court Judge B Sudershan Reddy is the opposition's Vice-Presidential candidate. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Tuesday announced his name, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Who is B. Sudarshan Reddy?

Justice B. Sudarshan Reddy was born on 8 July 1946. He completed his B.A. and LL.B. and enrolled as an advocate in the Andhra Pradesh Bar Council in 1971. He practised in writ, civil and constitutional matters in the Andhra Pradesh High Court. He was the Government Advocate in the Andhra Pradesh High Court from 1988 to 1990. Thereafter, he also served as Additional Standing Counsel for the Central Government. His legal expertise and unbiased image earned him a respected place in the judiciary.
