Patna: Voters enthusiastically participated in the second phase of the Bihar Assembly elections. By 3 PM, the state recorded over 60% voter turnout. This data suggests that a new voting record could be set in Bihar this time. The 2000 Assembly elections saw a voter turnout of 62.57%, while the 1998 Lok Sabha elections saw a voter turnout of 64.6%. This record is likely to be broken this time.
