New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said that the Budget Session of 2026 marks a decisive phase in India’s journey towards becoming a developed nation, as he addressed the media ahead of the session at the Parliament complex.
Describing the President’s Address as a reflection of the confidence, hard work, and aspirations of 140 crore Indians, the Prime Minister said it set clear guiding principles for lawmakers at the very beginning of the year. He added that the address highlighted the expectations of the youth in simple yet powerful terms, making the ongoing session particularly significant.
