New Delhi: A building collapsed in Delhi’s Satya Niketan area on Sunday afternoon, triggering an urgent rescue operation as several people were feared to be trapped beneath the rubble.

The incident took place at around 1:30 pm in southwest Delhi. Rescue personnel and local residents rushed to the site as efforts began to locate and pull out those who may have been buried under the debris.

At least one person has been rescued so far, while the search for others remains underway. A large crowd gathered near the collapsed structure as emergency teams worked through the debris in an effort to reach possible survivors.
