New Delhi: After the Congress Working Committee meeting in Delhi, party MP Charanjit Singh Channi has made a controversial statement, which has created a stir in the political corridors.
After this meeting held in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack, Channi questioned the government and said, “The government had made claims about surgical strikes, but where is the evidence? I have been asking this question for a long time, and even today my question is the same—where is the evidence?”
Channi also questioned India’s current diplomatic strategy with Pakistan in his statement. He said, “What did we get by sending Pakistani citizens back? The Attari border is already sealed.
It is not possible to stop the Indus Water Treaty, so how will our wounds heal?” This statement has come at a time when there is outrage across the country over the Pahalgam attack, and the government is facing demands for strict action against Pakistan.
Pak-China Plot Behind Pahalgam Attack?
A retired Pakistani army officer alleges Pakistan’s Army Chief conspired with China in the Pahalgam terror attack to destabilize India and deter companies from relocating from China
With the rhetoric from both sides, tensions have risen along the Indo-Pak border. India has firmly alleged that Pakistan orchestrated the attacks against unarmed tourists, while Pakistan outright denies the accusation.
Dreading the Indian action, Pakistan’s PM has even demanded a neutral investigation and cooperation to prove that Pakistan is not the conspirator of the Pahalgam Terror Attack, but in the midst of all this, a former officer of the Pakistani army has made a surprising claim.
Former Army Officer Major (Retd) Adil Raza has told a media outlet that the Army Chief of Pakistan, Asim Munir, has hatched the conspiracy, as it is his unspoken desire to rule Pakistan for another 10 years.
He also revealed that Pakistan is not solely responsible for the situation. China collaborated with Pakistan to undermine India’s global image, discouraging companies that were considering relocating from China to India by raising concerns about India’s security arrangements.
He also quoted the statement given by Foreign Secretary Shamshad Ahmed in one of his recent interviews, in which he stated that China never fights a war by itself. China never indulges itself in any war.
