New Delhi: All 45 Delhi Metro stations that were closed during the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest have reopened, with entry and exit gates restored and interchange facilities available across the network, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) announced.
The reopening restores access to the affected stations following restrictions imposed during demonstrations against alleged electoral roll irregularities and Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

Meanwhile, a significant police presence remained deployed at several locations across the national capital.
Most Protest Detainees Released
Delhi Police have released the detainees held at detention centres, except CJP leaders Dipke, Das and Ranka, according to police sources. The sources said due legal process would be followed in the cases involving the three leaders.
Despite the reopening of Metro stations, the CJP has indicated that its protest will continue. National Organisation In-charge Ajinkya Shinde said the agitation would continue until Gyanesh Kumar resigns and that party members would return to Jantar Mantar on Sunday.
The organisation has also called for protests against alleged electoral roll irregularities to continue across the country until the Chief Election Commissioner steps down.
