New Delhi: The national capital and adjoining regions woke up to a pleasant Thursday morning with a minimum temperature of around 21°C, slightly below the seasonal average. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a dry and comfortable day in Delhi, with no rainfall expected in the next 24 hours.

As the day progresses, mercury levels are likely to rise to around 29°C. The overall air quality remains in the “moderate” category, with minor fluctuations in particulate matter due to light winds.

Delhi: No rainfall predicted in 24 hours

Meteorological department officials said no rainfall is predicted in the coming 24 hours, and the weather will remain largely dry with good visibility. Evening temperatures are expected to drop to around 24°C, making it a pleasant night for residents.

Humidity levels are moderate, and the northwest winds are keeping the atmosphere relatively clean compared to early October averages.

Uttar Pradesh: Bright Sunshine, Mild Winds Across the State

Most parts of Uttar Pradesh will continue to enjoy clear skies and stable weather conditions. Morning temperatures were recorded around 22°C, while daytime highs could touch 30°C in Lucknow, Kanpur, and Prayagraj.

According to the Regional Meteorological Centre, the weather pattern across the Gangetic plains is expected to remain steady, with no major system developing in the next two days.

Farmers and outdoor workers are advised to stay hydrated as the sun may feel slightly intense during noon hours.
Western districts bordering Delhi are also witnessing similar dry and sunny conditions.

Uttarakhand: Rain and Thunderstorms Likely in Hill Districts

In contrast, Uttarakhand may witness isolated showers and thunderstorms, particularly in Pithoragarh, Nainital, and Chamoli districts. The morning began on a cool note at 11°C, with the day likely to warm up to 20 to 21°C before cloud buildup triggers local rainfall.

A Yellow Alert has been issued by the IMD for possible heavy rain and gusty winds in some upper Himalayan areas. Travelers and pilgrims have been advised to remain cautious and check local forecasts before moving through hilly routes. Evening temperatures are expected to fall sharply, making it a chilly night across higher altitudes.
