New Delhi: Delhi is set for another extremely hot day on Wednesday, with the minimum temperature expected to stay around 33 degrees Celsius and the maximum likely to climb to 42 degrees Celsius. The weather conditions suggest little relief for residents as heat is expected to dominate through the day.

Heat To Remain Intense

According to the forecast, the mercury may hover close to 33 degrees Celsius for a large part of the day before rising further in the afternoon. With dry and hot conditions likely, people stepping out during peak hours may experience discomfort, especially in open areas and busy traffic zones.

Wind Conditions

The wind speed is expected to remain around 6.44 kmph. Winds are likely to move from around 259 degrees, with gusts possibly reaching 8.18 kmph. The light wind movement may not bring significant relief from the heat, making the day feel warmer for commuters, office-goers and outdoor workers.

Sunrise And Sunset Timing

The sun rose in Delhi at 05:24 AM on Wednesday and is expected to set at 07:22 PM. With long daylight hours and high temperatures, residents are advised to stay hydrated and avoid unnecessary outdoor exposure during the afternoon.

Seven-Day Temperature Outlook

The seven-day forecast indicates that Delhi may continue to reel under intense heat. The maximum temperature is likely to touch 42 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and 43 degrees Celsius on Thursday. It may rise further to 44 degrees Celsius from Friday and remain around the same level through Saturday, Sunday and Monday. On Tuesday, the maximum temperature may ease slightly to 43 degrees Celsius.

Advisory For Residents

People are advised to drink enough water, wear light cotton clothes and avoid direct sunlight during peak afternoon hours. Children, elderly citizens and people with health conditions should take extra precautions as the heat may remain harsh over the coming days.
