Lonavala: In a grand ceremony held at Kaivalyadhama, Lonavala, Dr DY Chandrachud, the 50th Chief Justice of India, was honored with the esteemed Swami Kuvalayananda Yoga Puraskar 2025. The award recognizes his outstanding contributions and dedication towards promoting yoga and its benefits.

The event was graced by the presence of the former President, Ram Nath Kovind, who was the Chief Guest. The ceremony was presided over by Suresh Prabhu, Chairman of the Centenary Committee of Kaivalyadham and former Cabinet Minister.
Alongside Dr Chandrachud, other distinguished awardees included Dr Shirley Telles, Research Advisor and Consultant at Patanjali Research Foundation, Haridwar, and Yogacharya Rambhau Khandwe, President of Janardan Swami Yogabhyasi Mandal.
