Kolkata: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee alleged that exit poll predictions were broadcast at the BJP’s instruction with the intention of demoralising Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers on today.

Banerjee also claimed that central security forces were functioning under the direction of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, effectively acting as “agents of the BJP” during the polls.

Reaffirming her confidence in her party’s performance, she asserted that the TMC would return to power with a strong majority, projecting a win of over 226 out of 294 Assembly seats in West Bengal.

In a video message she has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of influencing both media narratives and central agencies during the state’s Assembly elections.
