Highlighting the capabilities of the H-125 helicopter, Modi noted that the aircraft can operate at extreme altitudes, including conditions comparable to Mount Everest. The decision to manufacture the helicopters in India reflects both countries’ commitment to strengthening local production and advancing technology transfer.
The assembly line is expected to support India’s growing aviation and defence ecosystem while enhancing self-reliance in critical sectors. France has long been a key defence partner for India, supplying advanced platforms and supporting joint industrial initiatives.
