The award was presented at a distinguished ceremony by Dr. Kiran Bedi, India’s first woman IPS officer and former Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, along with Amit Sachdeva, renowned Gandhian, lawyer and founder of the Mahatma Awards, popularly known as the “CSR Man of India”.

Under Gupta’s stewardship, GAIL has witnessed transformative progress, particularly in aligning its core business operations with sustainable development goals. His strategic vision has steered the company towards cleaner energy initiatives, enhanced environmental responsibility, and far-reaching Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes that have impacted lives across the country.
