Smoking
It is said that if smoking is done immediately after eating, then it is equal to smoking 10 cigarettes. Although, no concrete research has come out regarding this, but smoking cigarettes, which are already considered harmful, immediately after eating becomes more dangerous.
Bathing
Bathing immediately after eating delays digestion. During bathing, the blood flow around the stomach goes to the rest of the body instead of digesting the food.
Eating fruits
Different food items have different digestion times and speeds. That is why it is advisable to eat fruits first thing in the morning because they are digested quickly. Fruits should always be eaten one or two hours before or after meals. If you eat fruits immediately after eating, they are not digested properly.
Tea
Its leaves are acidic and affect the digestion process. If you have taken protein in your meal and drink tea immediately after that, it makes the protein content even harder, making it very difficult to digest the food. Drinking tea immediately after meals also prevents the body from absorbing iron properly. Avoid drinking tea one hour before and one hour after meals.
Brushing
Brushing is a good habit, but not immediately after eating. Wait for 30 minutes after eating, then brush. The American Dental Association says that brushing before sleeping at night is better for your oral health.
Walking
Going out for a walk immediately after eating is also not considered healthy. Go for a walk only half an hour after eating and do not walk for hours. You just have to walk around your house for 15-20 minutes, do not do any heavy exercise.
