Indian Army conducts operation Mahadev in Pahalgam and executes three terrorists
New Delhi: The Indian Army has once again achieved a major success against terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. On Monday (July 28), the army killed three terrorists under 'Operation Mahadev' in the Pahalgam area of Srinagar. This operation was carried out by the Army's 'Chinar Corps,' information about which was also shared through the social media platform 'X' (earlier Twitter).
For the last few days, the army had suspected the presence of terrorists in this area, after which a search operation was started. In this episode, 'Operation Mahadev' was carried out. It is not yet clear whether the terrorists killed were connected to the recent Pahalgam attack or not, but according to sources, they may be related to Lashkar-e-Taiba.
During the operation, the army had set up its camp on Mahadev Hill, from where it was monitoring the entire area. The activities of terrorists on this hill were already under suspicion. A joint team of Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police traced the terrorists and surrounded them.

After the encounter, all three terrorists were killed, from whom a large quantity of weapons were recovered. This area is located in a remote hilly area, which can be reached only on foot, which makes it clear that the terrorists were using this place to hide.
Interestingly, the terrorists had set up camp on Mahadev Hill by putting up tents. The army is now trying to find out where these terrorists came from and which terrorist organization they were associated with.
The success of this operation once again proves that the Indian Army is working on a zero-tolerance policy against terrorism, and no terrorist infiltration or attack will be left without retaliation.
After this incident, the security forces have increased vigilance in the entire area so that no other terrorist is hiding. This action of the army is not only a big blow to the terrorists, but it also gives a message of security to the countrymen that our security agencies are alert at all times and are ready to protect the country.
