Sopore: An eight-year-old girl lost her life after being attacked by a stray dog in Sopore area of Baramulla district in north Kashmir on Friday, officials said.

An official told Dynamite News, that the deceased has been identified as Aiman Adnan Sheikh, daughter of Adnan Ahmad Sheikh, a resident of Seloo, Sopore.

Incident Occurred Near Family Land

According to officials, the incident took place when the child had gone to her family’s land in the Seloo area. During this time, she was attacked by a stray dog.

She sustained severe injuries in the attack and was later declared dead.
