The 6th Lokmat Parliamentary Awards in Delhi honored 8 MPs, including Sudha Murthy, Sanjay Singh, and Digvijay Singh, recognizing their outstanding contributions to parliamentary democracy, leadership, and public service across Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.

Celebrating outstanding achievements of lawmakers
New Delhi: Maharashtra’s prestigious media group Lokmat organized the 6th edition of Lokmat Parliamentary Awards in the national capital on Wednesday. Full coverage is available on Dynamite News.
The awards ceremony was held at New Maharashtra Bhavan, Delhi. The chief guest of the event was former Supreme Court Judge Justice B. R. Gavai.
The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries including Dr. Vijay Darda (Chairman, Lokmat Media Group), Union Minister Ramdas Athawale, senior MP Praful Patel, former Chief Election Commissioner Dr. S. Y. Quraishi, former Union Minister Menka Gandhi, Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni, Editor-in-Chief Rajendra Darda, and MD Devendra Darda.
According to Dynamite News reporters, the conclave included meaningful discussions on topics such as “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India), emerging challenges to democracy, and the role of constitutional institutions.
Four Lok Sabha and four Rajya Sabha MPs who played an effective parliamentary role were honored. The awards have been given over the past five years to public representatives who have made notable contributions to strengthening parliamentary democracy.
Awarding parliamentary excellence
Former Union Minister Praful Patel, Chairperson of the awards jury, stated that this is the most credible and impartial award for parliamentarians. The jury included representatives from all political parties, and MPs were selected after thorough deliberation.
Dr. Vijay Darda highlighted Lokmat Group’s journey, emphasizing that the group’s mission is to serve the public through journalism.
