New Delhi: Rising tensions in West Asia and disruptions to global energy supply routes have sparked concerns about the availability of cooking gas in India. Reports about possible disruptions near the Strait of Hormuz- a vital passage for global oil, natural gas and LPG shipments have led many households to pre-book their LPG cylinders.

With demand increasing, long queues have been reported outside several gas agencies across the country. However, consumers do not need to rely only on traditional booking methods, as multiple digital and offline options are available to place refill requests quickly.

Book LPG Cylinder Through WhatsApp

Consumers can book LPG refills easily through WhatsApp using their registered mobile number. Customers of Indane Gas can send the message “REFILL” to 7588888824. Users of HP Gas can send “Hi” or “Book” to 9222201122, while Bharat Gas customers can send “Hi” or “Book” to 1800224344.

This method allows consumers to place refill requests instantly without visiting a gas agency or making a phone call.

Booking LPG Cylinder Through SMS

SMS booking remains a simple option for customers who may not have internet access. Indane users can send an SMS with the text “REFILL” from their registered mobile number to 7718955555.

For Bharat Gas customers, an SMS with the message “LPG” can be sent to 7715012345 or 7718012345. This service allows customers to request a refill quickly without logging into an online platform.

These platforms allow users to place orders, track deliveries and make payments digitally, reducing the need to visit a gas agency.
