12th Floor Blaze Engulfs Ivy County High-Rise
Noida: A major fire broke out on Friday morning in a high-rise residential tower at Ivy County society in Sector 75, Noida, causing panic among residents and prompting an urgent emergency response from fire and rescue services.
According to initial reports, the blaze started on the twelfth floor of one of the residential buildings and quickly spread within the affected apartment. Eyewitness videos circulating from the area showed flames intensifying, with indications that the fire may have originated on the balcony before engulfing the flat.
Fire tenders were immediately rushed to the site to control the situation. Officials are working to prevent the flames from spreading to adjoining flats in the densely populated high-rise complex.
Firefighters continued operations to douse the blaze as thick smoke was seen billowing from the building. Authorities confirmed that the cause of the fire is yet to be determined. So far, no casualties have been reported, though the situation remains under close observation.
Ivy County, developed by County Group, is a large residential complex consisting of multiple towers and housing thousands of residents, making emergency response efforts critical and time-sensitive.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took cognisance of the incident shortly after reports emerged. He directed senior officials to reach the site without delay and ensure that rescue and relief operations are carried out in a swift and coordinated manner.
The Chief Minister also instructed authorities to provide immediate medical assistance to any injured residents and maintain strict vigilance throughout the operation. He emphasized continuous monitoring of the situation to ensure effective management of the emergency.
As firefighting operations continue, officials are expected to assess the cause of the blaze once the situation is brought under control. The incident has once again raised concerns over fire safety preparedness in high-rise residential complexes across rapidly growing urban centres like Noida.
