Srinagar: Young student activist Akeel Tantray on Tuesday said that the post-abrogation period has brought greater peace, stability and opportunities to Jammu and Kashmir, enabling students and youth to excel in education and represent the region on national platforms.

Speaking on the seventh anniversary of the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A, Tantray said educational institutions across the Union Territory are functioning smoothly, allowing students to pursue their academic and professional aspirations without disruption.

"We're living in peace, educational institutions are running smoothly, and Kashmiri youth are representing at the national level after the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A," Tantray said.

He stated that the changing environment has encouraged greater participation of youth in national-level competitions, higher education, sports, entrepreneurship and skill development. According to him, the younger generation is increasingly focusing on building careers and contributing positively to society.

Tantray said the youth of Jammu and Kashmir should continue to take advantage of emerging opportunities, strengthen their educational foundations and play an active role in the region's development. He added that sustained peace and stability are essential for ensuring long-term progress and empowering future generations.

Calling upon students to remain committed to education, innovation and nation-building, Tantray expressed confidence that Jammu and Kashmir's youth will continue to make the region proud through their achievements across India.
