PESB recommends Saleem Ahmad as CMD of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited

PESB Recommends Saleem Ahmad as RVNL CMD

New Delhi: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended Saleem Ahmad for the role of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL). Ahmad is currently serving as Director (Projects) at NBCC (India) Limited and brings a wealth of experience from his earlier tenure at Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).

He was selected after interviews were conducted with 10 candidates on October 11. His vast background in infrastructure and urban transport positions him as a strong leader to guide RVNL’s future growth.

He is a Civil Engineer from the 1990 batch of Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi, with 33 years of experience in the construction sector. During his tenure at Delhi Metro, he played a key role in developing and executing last-mile connectivity solutions.
