New Delhi: The 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme is likely to be released in the first week of November. More than 10 crore farmers will benefit. Farmers should update their bank and Aadhaar details on time.
When and to whom will the installment be given?
Under the PM-Kisan scheme, farmers receive ₹2,000 in three installments annually. This time, the 21st installment is expected to be released in November.

Farmers in some states, like Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir, have already received the installment in advance. Farmers in other states are likely to receive the payment in November.
Advice from the Union Agriculture Minister
Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has advised farmers to update their Aadhaar seeding, e-KYC, and bank account details as soon as possible.
Farmers whose documents are incomplete will not receive the benefit of this installment. Verification of farmers in border and special areas will also be conducted to ensure they receive the benefits.
Bihar Elections and Model Code of Conduct
The Model Code of Conduct is in effect due to the Bihar Assembly elections. However, this does not mean that payments for ongoing schemes like PM-Kisan will stop.
Only the announcement of new schemes is prohibited. If the technical formalities between the state and central governments are complete, the payments will continue.
What to do if the installment is not received?
If a farmer has not received their installment or is facing registration problems, they can use the help desk on the official PM-Kisan website. Problems can be registered here by entering the Aadhaar number, account number, or mobile number. Farmers can also seek help from the CSC, local Patwari, Revenue Officer, or Nodal Officer.
Benefits of the Scheme
The PM-Kisan scheme was launched in February 2019. Under this scheme, more than 10 crore farmers across the country receive ₹6,000 annually directly into their bank accounts.

The previous, 20th installment was released in August 2025, in which ₹20.84 crore was transferred to 9.7 crore farmers.
