New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the Christmas prayer service at the Cathedral Church of the Redemption in Delhi on 25 December. This church is not only the largest church in Delhi but also one of the oldest. On this occasion, PM Modi joined the devotees in celebrating the birth of Lord Jesus Christ and shared a message of love.
During the prayer service, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of love, peace, and compassion. He said that the festival of Christmas gives us a message of brotherhood, harmony, and unity in society. People participated in the prayers and received blessings on this occasion.

The Cathedral Church is famous for its magnificent decorations and splendid architecture. On the occasion of Christmas, it was adorned with colorful lights, Christmas trees, and glittering decorations. This is not PM Modi’s first visit to a church. He has previously visited churches across India, from Goa to other major cities. Last year too, he attended Christmas celebrations at a church.
