Amit Shah Conveyed His Greetings
Home Minister Amit Shah conveyed his greetings on the occasion of Hindi Diwas. He said that all the Indian languages play a role in preserving our cultural heritage. He also highlighted the growing importance of Hindi in technology, governance, and global engagement.
Amit Shah said, “Our goal is to ensure that Hindi and other Indian languages become not just a medium of communication but the cornerstone of technology, science, justice, education, and administration. Why Is Hindi Diwas Celebrated?
Hindi Diwas is observed every year on 14 September to mark the adoption of Hindi as one of the official languages of the union of India in 1949. Hindi Diwas is not just a medium to promote the language, but this day is a day to remember the soul of the nation. Hindi is one of the 22 scheduled languages of India, but it is also the most widely spoken language in the country. Hindi language is the cultural identity of the country, which connects people from north to south and east to west. Mahatma Gandhi said in 1918 that “Hindi is the language of the masses” and it can bind the country together. Even today his statement is equally relevant.
