After the video with Rahul Gandhi's picture on the sanitary pad surfaced, some people are attacking Congress and Rahul Gandhi. Allegations and counter-allegations and political turmoil are increasing continuously regarding the matter. Bharatiya Janata Party has called it an insult to women.

Congress has directly blamed BJP for this. The Congress spokesperson said that 'BJP people have stooped so low that they are not refraining from spreading fake videos even on the help being given to women to keep their periods safe'. BJP people and their followers have become so blind that they have not even spared their sisters and daughters, they have started making fake news even on this.'
The Congress said that the use of sanitary pads protects the health of girls. They are less prone to infections. Even today, one-fourth of women do not have clean hygienic means during periods, due to which they get infected and the chances of infection increase. That is why, there is a great need for social awareness on this issue.
In another post on its official X handle, Bihar Congress has called the viral video completely fake and has also shown a video of Congress with sanitary pads, in which Rahul Gandhi's picture is not visible on the pad.
