New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi responded to the President’s address in the Rajya Sabha, delivering a strong critique of the Congress party. His speech was marked by sharp attacks on Congress policies and the party’s alleged personal and regional biases.
During his address, several opposition members staged a walkout, and proceedings were temporarily suspended, prompting Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to claim in the Lok Sabha that the Prime Minister appeared “scared.”

Prime Minister Modi reiterated his previous statements that Congress harbors hostility toward him, figuratively wanting to “dig his grave.” He attributed this animosity to several government initiatives: abrogating Article 370, restoring development and peace in Northeast India, countering Pakistani terrorists, conducting Operation Sindoor, and taking decisive steps against Maoist terrorism.
